Setting Preferences

When jambient starts, it looks for the file "preferences.jam" in the directory where "jambient.exe" is located.

If it finds this file, it loads it. You can use this file to store as many or as few preferences as you like, for example, general settings (output device, joystick, mouse, 3d and scriping options), wiring, bands, browser directories, etc. See Saving and Opening for more on jam files.

You can take "preferences.jam" with you if you are playing on a different machine.
